You can walk straight from our front door to the cricket pitch and our 11th Century church, with dramatic views back to the castle. Great Views of the village & the Arun Valley can be seen from the top of Perry Hill, which lies opposite our building.

 

Arundel is an hour's walk along the river, while Amberley and Houghton, with the Bridge pub and the Amberley Working Museum, lie on the South Downs Way about an hour's walk to the north. The large Angmering estate, with its wonderful wildlife and bluebell woods, are about a 20 minute stroll.

Litlehampton, with the East Beach Cafe, West Beach and Climping beaches are all about 15 minutes away. To the north lie Amberley Castle and Parham House. Denmans Gardens, a chalk-based garden, is to the west of Arundel towards Chichester.

 

|Less than an hour

 

You can reach Brighton, Chichester, Goodwood, Petworth, Midhurst, Steyning and Lewes in less than an hour, traffic permitting.
